That beggar again!

 I read (long time ago) that the Wikipedian founder is a beggar. I think the same and I was glad to see that someone else online said so. And now, years later, I see he's begging again! See what I had chance to read recently:

To all our readers in the U.S.:
Time is running out in 2016 to help Wikipedia. When I made Wikipedia a non-profit, people warned me I’d regret it. Over a decade later, it’s the only top ten site run by a non-profit and a community of volunteers. Has it crossed my mind how much money we could have made if it had ads? Sure. But I believe people wouldn’t want to build it and we wouldn't be able to trust it. To protect our independence, we'll never run ads. We're sustained by donations averaging about $15. Now is the time we ask. If everyone reading this right now gave $3, our fundraiser would be done within an hour. That's right, the price of a cup of coffee is all we need. It’s easy to ignore this message; most people do. But I hope you’ll take one minute to think about how useful Wikipedia is in your life. Please help us keep Wikipedia online and growing. And on the other hand a lot of censorship, deleting content, limits... So, NO, THANK YOU! It's enough that:

1. So many people are visiting you website (Wikipedia.org)!
2. So many people are creating content FOR FREE in Wikipedia!

 You have visitors and you have users, who are writing for free, and you STILL need money?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

 What we have to say -- the people who struggle to write their content by themselves and who are dealing with not enough visitors? So many websites are gone, just because they have not enough content and not enough visitors. You have this all: a lot of visitors and a lot of free workers (unique and semi-unique content) distributors and you still want to beg for money?! Oh, I can't believe it!

Well, I searched more about this beggar and I found that he knows what he is. He describes himself well as a fulltime-beggar:

You have become a cause célèbre, and famous with the rise of the Wikipedia project. Are you using your celebrity to encourage the rich and famous people you’ve come in contact with to make donations?
