Both have different algorithms and they move in that directions.there are a lot of differences between SEO Google and Yahoo.Yahoo explorer fetches top high authority pages but Google picks them according to site map.Yahoo indexes those pages who are very worthy, content enrich, high traffic but Google concentrates on back links and content. There are also many other differences,

For optimization: both browsers techniques are same. Due to popularity and other advance searches, Google is on the top. It’s efficient and now even better to find image based searching.
I have been using HostGator hosting and i recommend HostGator ReviewRead also about WebHostingHub

Actually, Google search result is much better than yahoo and most of the internet users are using Google for their researchers. In my opinion, there's no difference between the two because when you are doing a good on-page and off-page seo, you can be able to rank in the 2 search engines.
