Tweetdeck.com is an alternative, but I am a Hootsuite man. I originally used it a few years back, and I really preferred Hootsuite because it is "in the cloud" and you had to download Tweetdeck. They have since added that functionality and are now owned by Twitter. So I am sure it's good. I don't see a compelling difference between the two at this point, do you?
