I read somewhere that if we do too much SEO, then it can be a cause over-optimization and rank can be down. Now I wanna know from all of you, is that true? And how can we avoid over optimization.

Please suggest me.

SEO is a daily process there is no limit in this doing off page seo activity daily it will maintain the rankings of your keywords in the search engine

Do you have any idea about Google Penguin? Read here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Penguin and don't speak things that are not true and may hurt somebody's ranking!

i agree with you and I have read this somewhere that if we earn quality backlinks then minimally 10 backlinks are sufficient per day..
