Pears resembling the Buddha

At the first glance, people will think that this is the ginseng fruit in "Journey to the West". A farmer in Hebei spent 6 years and bred these pears resembling the Buddha.

According to the British "Daily Mail" report on September 6th, Hebei farmer Hao Xianzhang bred more than 10,000 pears resembling the Buddha, and plans to export to Europe."Daily Mail" says, this kind of pear may sweep across England.

The report says, the price of these pears is very expensive, about 5 pounds (about 50 yuan) each, but the local people would grab empty. Hao Xianzhang explained: "People think these pears are cute, or bring good luck."
