The number
666 most recognized as the "Number of the Beast" in one respect or another is a concept from the Book of Revelation of the christian bible. Although the number 666 is most widely recognized, more recent findings have revealed that the number may actually be 616.

There since have been countless interpretations of who and what this number represents, there are many different versions of the christian religion and not all of them agree on the meaning of anything, let alone, this number. A more popular belief is that the number 666 was used to refer to The Emperor Nero. These days the number has been twisted one way or the other to be applied to everything from modern currency to bill gates! Usage in popular culture of the number of the devil can also be seen on just about any heavy metal music album to printed on t-shirts and lets not forget the movie "The Omen."

The number
777 is a more rarely used number. But for those that have seen it used and wish to know what it means, it is basically the opposite of 666. It has no actual basis except that some christian who heard the number 666 assumed that if that was the number of the beast than god must be one higher. To further this, 7 is considered a "lucky" number to begin with because their god created the world in seven days and well...you can figure it out. "
