Laowai pronunciation

About the laowai pronunciation (laowai's pronunciation): it's lǎowài (this is how we write it in pinyin). Some people spell it lao wai (for example: "What does Lao Wai mean?") and it's okay, because it's a 2-characters Chinese word.
A fan of science, philosophy and so on. :)
