1. We earn some money from the ads.
2. We use this money to pay the hosting and the domain (~ USD 24 every year). And this is why we don't beg you or anyone else to support this forum with donations.
3. The rest we use to share with the people who work hard here (moderation, inspection).

And after I made it clear that we have some money which is enough to pay for the forum and even to give some bonus to people who contribute here with the moderation, you started to ask about the https thing again...


Let me try it again:

1. No, we never beg you or others to pay money here. It's 100% free.
2. Yes, we have enough for hosting, domain and some personal earnings.
3. No, we haven't enough to pay something more than the 3 mentioned above.

About your favorite https, take a read: 20% of the world 502 largest websites do not use HTTPS.

In the future if we (most of us) successfully find more income abroad and this forum got more incomes, we gladly will spend more for https, some new moderators and so on. But for now, we're not that rich, so, again: NO, we don't ask for your money because we're not that poor. YES, we are not that rich to afford https (when it's paid).

This is very often: they're stingy when it comes you to share a link (you must pay) but when it comes you to work for free for them, oh, so welcome! This is what I call selfishness. (I met it in hundreds of websites of different type, so I suppose the one you give your time and efforts for free now, is the same. )

We have got Free Ads where most of the advertisers are welcome.  But if they don't allow our forum to be advertised there, well, I guess you can't advertise them here too. And this is what I call "in fair rule".
