Both are good in their own capabilities, But i prefer the Joomla, because it is best in Content Management System for web content.

Though it began as a blogging tool, it has evolved into a full-fledged CMS. You can check the blogs of the NY Times to get a peek into what WordPress can do. However, WordPress still caters mostly to newbies.

I think wordpress is more for blogging though Joomla is for more advanced sites.
In simple words, wordpress is easier to use though Joomla is much better and offers more flexability. Depends on what you are creating i guess...

Joomla is a open source part of online software. which means is that it is free to use its base core system, which makes it so powerful and widely used. it is free components and some paid components that can be used on your web development.

What is WordPress You probably already know what a CMS. Their is a lot, and every webmaster chooses for itself a content management system. This can be Bitrix, Joomla, Drupal and many other free designers, but WordPress, judging by the polls users on the Internet, it is necessary to "armed" almost 50% of webmasters. The figure is impressive. What is it like all the designer? Using Wordpress, you can quickly, in just a few minutes to create your website, even if you absolutely do not know how to create web pages as well as do not know what the GNU GPL, MySQL, PHP, plug-ins and Web programming in general. There is no complications in its user interface. If you want to make a website on wordpress and don't know how to do it, don't worry you can used tutorials which you can find using google like BBC News Planet. If the problem exist and want to resolve it you can contact custom wordpress website development company. In other hand, if we talk about joomla CMS, its admin panel/user interface is complicated as compared to wordpress as well as there are not too much websites which provides its tutorials. So, in think the best choice is wordpress content management system in open source CMSs to design and develop a website.

Hmm, I haven't use Joomla before so I can't really give any ideas about it. But for Wordpress, I would say it works out pretty good for me currently, in term of doing content work of course. Some may say Wordpress is better for doing blog, maybe true, but in my workplace they use Wordpress for all of their websites and the SEO work is kinda well done so yeah... probably 'how we use it' is more important matter.

Right. I do agree with this point of view: it's how you use it.
