About the so-called "personal data"

About the "personal data"

About the so-called "pesonal data". Right now I noticed one thing about it: in "Core Features" there is
Quote
GDPR Compliance

Enabling this feature will configure a number of settings on your forum to make it compliant with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation.
and because it looks important, I decided to do it. What I saw was
"This privacy policy describes the promises you make to your users regarding how you will use their personal data." I have no idea what "personal data" is exactly. As far as I read online it is about race, ethnic origin, health records, social security numbers, etc. Looks like it's an umbrella term... and because we really don't have this sort of information (data) and we don't want to have it, I created this one:
Quote
"This privacy policy describes the promises you make to your users regarding how you will use their personal data." WE DON'T USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA. WE EVEN DON'T KNOW WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW IT, SO DON'T TELL US, PLEASE. :-)
Frank, funny and friendly.

I noticed this a few moments ago because I logged in now to answer to Kurultaev's problems with those insane foreigners.

Usually I read here as a guest. If there is no problem I don't log in.

I do support the innovation and surely it is reasonable.
