Why NOT TO advertise, donate and purchase/buy on/to/from Voat.co

According to our moral values, our sense of justice and our sane mind, it's a bad idea to pay money to voat.co (Atko and PuttItOut. Atko is the Bosnian Muslim Atif Colo).

We already explained a lot about why NOT TO advertise on voat.co.
 

Why now we're reminding you not to advertise on, donate to and buy/purchase from voat.co

The reason is that (as we informed you already there) recently they (the Bosnian Muslim 'Atko' and that 'PuttItOut') are begging the voaters (the voat.co's visitors and members) for more money again!
PuttItOut announced a few days ago that "Voat Merchandise Available!" (their subdomain store.voat.co) and he explained that voat.co has not finalized financing. (This means they are 'ENTIRELY user supported', and this is where things get serious: if they can't sustain operation costs via donations, ads and merchandise then their 'runway is limited'. And by purchasing voat.co merchandise you help in 2 very important ways: It helps keep voat.co running, and secondly you're helping voat.co with grassroots marketing (guerrilla marketing). Both are critical to our community’s future.
The Bosnian Muslim (Atif Colo, aka 'Atko') 12-13 days ago made his 'A public call for funding', where he publish that Voat.co gets money 'primarily' from the voaters' donations and ad-sales, but ad-sales have so far been unable to cover the expenses (donations and ads combined can no longer cover voat.co's hosting fees). They don’t want to change what voat.co 'stands for' or voat.co's 'core principles', and thus they need 'your help' (i.e. they need more and more your and others money!). If you have contacts or relationships with potential investors who also believe in and support their 'Freedom of Speech' commitment (which is fake and we explain it many times here in seo-forum-seo-luntan), 'please let us know and please let them know that we need their help'. (And until they have a permanent solution, they need you to donate, buy ads and merchandise...)

NOW about the so called 'Free Speech' on voat.co -- It's fake. (Don't forget that they're banning a lot of websites even AGAINST THEIR OWN RULES; Don't forget that 'Fat People Hate' bans and silences many people too, also against the 'Free speech' declared by voat.co!). -posting restrictions. post sub timing restrictions per hour and per day and not faster than every 30 seconds

-voting restrictions. 0.5 votes per 1 ccp in 24 hours,

Once again this is why NOT TO advertise, donate and purchase (buy) on voat.co, to voat.co and from voat.co. Well, it's up to you anyway; we don't (and we can't) press anybody to give them money or not to give them money. You're free people and you decide how to spend and how to respect your money!

 Fact: we kept their anti-spam rule 20/80 (up to 2 links to your website/-s when you linked other 8 websites), but we got that idiotic ban for 'spam'.
 Fact: the voat.co's FPH (Fat People Hate) except spreading hatred, aggression and degradation is breaking the core value (core principle) for 'Free speech' of the Bosnian Muslim Atif Colo (Atko) and the other one, but he even features it:

 Fact: the poor (pity) voaters who spent and who are spending their money have even no transparency reports what's going on with their capital. Even one of the fatpeoplehaters (FPHs) nicknamed 'HomerSimpson' is questioning it:

A moral statement of mine: a website like voat.co which allows hatred, aggression, rude and dirty words and other bad (and evil) things doesn't deserve to exist at all!!!

Even some known haters from the v/fatpeoplehate are leaving it (the new fphlive.com is going to help more about it, yes?). Voat (voat.co) traffic was decreasing recently and only that new Reddit exodus make it increasing a bit again. I think in the future voat.co isn't going to be a big website or even can disappear. (And, I remember it, we're an elder website and an elder community. Don't forget it. )

I think it was mentioned in the international omnilogy forum already, but let me add this point: You have a site with so many users (well not so many as before, but still many). These many users (or most of them) contribute content for your site FOR FREE. And you still want them to pay, in one or another way, for your site's needs?! It's madness!

I think we mentioned it many times already. The voaters are donating content to Voat.co (which is one of the best capitals for a website), but still Bosnian Muslim Atif Colo and that other one beg the voaters for money! And this is not because they're stupid and don't realize that the content contribution is something precious for their site (voat.co). I saw that the Bosnian Muslim Atif Colo (aka Atko) is understanding it and he thanks to a voater in v/pics "for contributing content to Voat." So this is not stupidity, it's impudence. (Compare this with some of the websites that even pay or give gifts to their content contributors and you'll realize how idiotic is the situation in voat.co!)

Not only abnormal, but also with lack of skills to earn money well from their huge content and their traffic. It's shameful to have so many traffic + contnent and to be in need for money for your successful website.

Some good news for us here! We're older than voat.co and we're with better moderation (no evil, no bad, no crazy content here), but we're still less popular than that terrible website. And here comes the optimistic info for all of us! I saw a website which has only around 5000~6000 posts (articles) and I think it has only 1 (or few) people who work on it BUT it has much more traffic (visitors, readers) than voat.co! The second part is that I (and some other friends and colleagues) found some nearly great ideas about what to post and develop here, so I think we also may got more popularity than voat.co! I'll be proud, if this comes true!

Yes. My personal honest opinion: if you're alone or you and a few more you can't compete in quantity with those who have got somehow thousands+ users and "writers". Let's say you're 10 and you work hard every day by writing 50 articles. You'll have 500 articles daily. Let's say also: those guys got 900 000 users and they post only 2 articles daily. It's 1 800 000 articles per day. You can't compete with this giant quantity, but you can compete with very good quantity. I like the example above. Only a few thousand articles, but better than others who are getting these thousands of articles only in one day.

Anyway I'm not very optimistic about their ability to survive (as a website) from what they demonstrated (as 'skills') so far. I think that they'll be not able to support financially their website with this quantity of traffic (in case it's not just a bluff; bluff means "an attempt to deceive someone into believing that one can or will do something" and also means "try to deceive someone as to one's abilities or intentions"; I mean in case they're not bluffing about their current inability to pay the hosting and stuff -- I don't know, because:

1. They lack of transparency reports about how much they receive and how much they spend, not enough clear and transparent information about their funds.

2. But in other hand, their alexa.com's ranking shows a real increase of the traffic, mostly due to the recent Reddit's 'Pizzagate' mass exodus.)

No one can predict the future, but I may suppose, that they're not going to be a big-and-popular site, not going to be a leading site as far as they allow/permit de facto a lot of evil, bad, disturbing, amoral and anti-human content + they're not good in business. In this sense, I don't think they're some serious competitors to seo-forum-seo-luntan.com, and yes, I do believe that one day we may have a better ranking then theirs (according to our recent internal counting after the 'nearly great ideas' for developing of this international omnilogy site, we got a couple of days ago here. )

I wish I could promise or even to swear that we will do it. But nobody can be 100% sure, because there are many questions without answers. So, to make it clear for all, who wish to participate and to help us to get better than voat.co ranking, I think I'm sure at a level like 85~90% we can do it, after our so-called almost great idea!
