We're here again! Sorry for our bad hosting!I had no idea what happened these days. Let me show you the history of this tragedy.
It was a great tragedy for our
seo-forum-seo-luntan.com. It's stopped for around a week.
The data:
1/ The message was "
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later. "
2/ The Server Status was OK. Everything was green. Not busy.
3/ We could see the 2 attached html pages in our forum, for example
www.seo-forum-seo-luntan.com/Make%20money%20online.html was visible/openable.
4/ We wrote to the hosting company many times. They asked us to write/post a support ticket. We wrote/posted them a few. Then they wanted us to give them our username and our password, we gave them.
5/ Still nothing.
We started to right them e-mails "
www.seo-forum-seo-luntan.com is still out of order. Can we have our money back, because we would like to choose another hosting company.", but we didn't get any answer from them.
A support team member (SMF) wrote us "most likely nothing you can do, but try to get a full backup of your forum and go find a new host that will reply to you when you have questions."
I answered him: "I hope there must be something to do. We paid 1 more year recently (hosting + domain) and it's hard to leave it right now.
Well, I sent them this:
" 收件人:support@1dollar-webhosting.com
www. seo-forum-seo-luntan.com is still out of order. Can we have our money back, because we would like to choose another hosting company."
If no money and no forum, we'll just wait until the end, because we have no earnings from this forum at all till today and there is no reason to spend more money right now."
Then he answered that "i would not expect much from a host that offers such cheap oversold hosting." And my answer was: "We use this cheap hosting more than 1 year. During this time it happened few times already. Seems it wasn't the right choice."
Another guy asked me "are you sure you did everything alright with databases and such settings?"
I answered him: "we didn't touch anything inside. The last and only changes we did is to edit a .html file (adding or removing some banners in that html page). "
At last we got again where is the problem, a man said "I can access your agreement.txt on each of the sites, so I am presuming that all your files are still there. There is a problem with the MySql server most likely, and since your host will not respond, then there isn't much you can do through Cpanel either. "
"Yes. As I can see all our files are there. So it's MySql problem most likely...I see."- I answered, anyway it was somehow obvious that this is the problem according to the message "
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later. ", isn't it?
At last a skillful
Geser Kurultaev's (
MSL's) friend from Bulgaria helped us!
Thank you so much, dear friend! I will send to the hosting company this email:
"It's working now.
A friend helped us to repair the problem. It's really sad that your support is not answering. All we need it our forum to work normally.
