 :P Very small pancakes with very fresh corn flavor. 8)

  I make juice with fresh corns in a blender. Then add in the corn juice an egg, some flour, green onions, five-spicy powder and salt.
  Then make pancakes with this mixture.

Some recipes call for 'corn milk'. The way you get it, is after the corn cob is cleaned of kernels, you take the back of a knife and scrape the cobs. You get a milky liquid, which is the corn milk. It' adds corn flavor to a recipe.

Braised Bamboo Shoot with Shrimps and Peas


I prefer to cook with fresh materials.  It's the season to eat spring bamboo shoot now.
Here I braised the bamboo shoot first and fried with shrimps and peas. Only some soy sauce, salt to taste.
Very delicious :P

Baked Curry Chicken Wings


Today I baked chicken at home. I used three kinds of powder: curry, turmeric and citronella. Put the powder and some salt in the chicken wings and marinade for two hours. And then baked in the oven for 30 minutes, 200℃.

I got some free satay sauce. It is said to make kebabs with it is very nice.
I tried. I made with some quail eggs, chicken, onions, mushrooms, peppers, tofu and sausages. I don't have a grill so I baked them in the oven.

 The truth is that it's very time consuming for her (usually around an hour for a picture like that). I do prefer the natural pictures like the one in my thread ('Homemade food'). I'll give you an example with a photo I already showed there (it was ready for less than a minute): . :)
 Less aesthetics obviously, but clear, natural, pretty and time saving. :) 8)

It's not pasta as usual, because I did not use Italian pasta sauce or ketchup.
I again use the satay sauce I got for free. It's also very very tasty.

Simple: pasta, beef, onion, broccoli and satay sauce.

I think this is Sichuan style.
Just cut the cucumber and mix the sauce.
Make the sauce: fried peanuts, garlic, pepper, green onion, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, salt and oil.

The shape may be Japanese style, but I am not sure. I didn't see this kind of rice balls in the restaurant around.
Mix the rice with cooked carrots, peas, sausages, corns, sesame and then make the rice balls, add some cheese inside.

Steamed Chinese Cabbage Rolls


We have a light diet in our family. My parents often cook light food.
It's a good way to steam when we cook. Now it's very hot, and I prefer to eat like this.
These rolls are very simple. You can choose what to put inside. First soften the cabbage leaves and roll up the other things,then steam for 10 minutes.
Make sauce: some water, oyster sauce, salt , oil and corn starch.
