  I think AdWords are the best, but let's add some more easy (and not that easy) ways to promote your business:

• Websites like www.alibaba.com, www.alimama.com, www.amazon.com, etc.
• Affiliate programs
• SEO
• SEM
• Free ads
• Forums

One way is use a good none spam email campaigner. that will help you to gain more good traffic to your site that will promote your business.

 I'm not sure about it. Some people don't read emails from strangers at all. Even they read them, many of them are not going to visit your links, because they're afraid of viruses... I recommend many other ways, but not "email campaigner". Whatever, thank you for your opinion, benlinus78 !

It depends on what you are selling, I used to sell second cars online and I was very successful because of using online classified sites and Facebook groups.
