Google Strategy 2013
« on: May 07, 2013, 11:57:30 PM »
I have heard that targeting exact match keywords is not a good idea, but just wondering how will Google know which keywords we want optimized. Guys, share your strategies or case studies on what is working for you this 2013 year.

White hat SEO, Green hat SEO, avoiding the black hat SEO and the grey hat SEO. And praying to the SEO god. ;D /The last one is a joke. There is no SEO god./

 Edit reason: spell check.

you can still use your keywords but limit them, for example, exact match keywords, 20% while the rest, use a mixture of generic anchor text together with your brand name.

am not an SEO expert but my strategy can be you buy a new domain with the keywords in it, then use as much generic anchor text as possible, together with the URL while building links, at least that way, Google will know what your site is all about because of the keyword in the domain.
