whats working in SEO
« on: January 24, 2013, 08:58:13 PM »
whats working in SEO? I feel as if every time I use forums, blog comments, directories, and article submission, my keywords get worse in SERP. Any one with a similar opinion and what can we do different?

Over-optimization?
« Reply #1 on: January 24, 2013, 10:31:11 PM »
Maybe you make it over-optimized and the Search Engines don't rank you well. If you share some concrete scheme of own SEO here, I can think where is the problem. Now, all I can, think is that maybe you over-optimized it. Avoid it, because the over-optimization leads to penalties, as I know.

Google have no plan to stop changing the algorithm and they definitely aren’t going to stop fighting spam. So right now more than ever before; you need to focus on creating high quality content and you need to focus on white hat-ish SEO strategies.

See Post Unique Content in Article submission sites, Forum Post will also useful one but Directories don't submit more than 5 per day because it will take time to publish your link..

Good links, perfect content (unique, interesting, etc.), users' behavior (for example -- the bounce rate).
PR or PageRank (sometimes: "Page Rank").

Bounce rate
« Reply #10 on: March 05, 2016, 08:46:56 AM »
... Bounce-rate...
It's undoubtedly a very important thing, when it comes to ranks, SERPs and so on. But how do you work with it or how do you use it for SEO? :o Share some example, Kavya. Do you mind to share with us?

I really hope that it's not the only black hat method (bounce rate related) I think about. I know it's a pretty dirty method and it's not helping your site, it's just potentially causing different level of negative SEO for another/others websites. You know the rule: "Don't be evil!" :) Only white hat and green hat, please! :)
