英语里的数字分为基数词和序数词。

基数词就是我们说的一、二、三、四......
序数词就是我们说的第一、第二、第三......

基数词：0-12: zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
    这是12个不同的单词，无规律可循。
    13-19：thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen.
     这几个词都以-teen 结尾，基本上是个位数+-teen, 只是 thirteen, fifteen,eighteen 稍有变化。
     整十(20-90): twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety.
       这些词都以-ty 结尾，注意 twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty 与个位数上的变化。
     更大的数量单位：hundred 一百，thousand 一千, million 一百万, billion 十亿
     其它数字 如21 twenty-one, 56 fifty-six  用 整十 后接个位数即可。
       112  one hundred and twelve
          2517  two thounsand five hundred and seventeen
数字各种读法：1. 车号、电话号码等按顺序把数字读出来：358120   three five eight one two zero
  2. 年份: 1987 nineteen eighty-seven
            2011  twenty eleven 或 two thousand and eleven
2. 序数词：1-3  first 第一, second 第二, third第三
           4 以上都加上-th后缀。
           多位数的只把最后一个数字用序数词 如 第39 thrity-ninth
   
  注意变化的词：fifth第五，eighth 第八，ninth第九，twelfth十二
      整十 twenty -twentieth 第二十，thirty - thirtieth
.....
序数前常用the, 如：the fifth floor

    Little Willy: Abraham Lincoln was born.
    Teacher: Correct. And what great event happened in 1812?
    Little Willy: Abraham Lincoln had his third birthday.

重大事件

  老师：1809年发生了什么重大事件？
  小威利：亚拉伯罕林肯诞生。
  老师：正确。那么1812年发生了什么重大事件呢？
  小威利：亚拉伯罕过他的三周岁生日。
