Hello Friends,
I have been working on one of the SEO project from past few months and by working consistently on this I had achieved my first target that is to bring all the keywords on top ten position but now I am focusing to bring these in top 5 position and some of the techniques which I am using are directory submission, social bookmarking, forum posting, blogging, article submission etc., Still by using all these techniques the keywords are not yet stable on their position for example one of the keyword was on position 4 and now it has dropped down to position 7.  Please suggest some techniques which can be helpful to bring all the keywords in top 5 positions and make them stable.

The sites you are following for such off-page activities must be more in Do-follow and High PR. This will actually makes your website more visible to search engines and passes the link value.

According to me, link building provides to quality back links and increase page rank in search engine and it is not enough to get good position. You can do on pages technique, quality content and social media activities. All factors are very important in SEO Campaign.

Good content with building quality backlinks from trusted sites will be very effective in getting higher ranking position on search engine's.

You are on the right track if you have managed to push all the keywords to the first page, my advice now is to double your link building effort, if you were creating 10 links per day, create 20 links per day now.

To stability of your keywords ranking you have to do a one or two day work in a week. Just create high pr quality back links. Using content should be related to the matter and unique.

Create stable back-links from high authority sites. Try something different from the usual stuff. create some sort of link wheel to grab the stability.

Yes in seo on the first page position will be change day to day or a month because lot of people will do seo algorithms were updated so in the search engine position won't be stable do same what your doing..

According to me, you have to do all the off page optimization but in blog posting you have post unique content having useful keywords, anchor link to your site and make sure that your post should be in quality site.
