Adding images to the webpage does not harm your SEO. But if you create images instead of contents it will affect SEO. Search engine cannot process images to get contents. For example if you have an image only website, search engine will not have opportunity to get to know about your contents. Hence you will not get SEO rank. Also images will affect website download speed. Website download speed is a SEO factor. So do not stuff your pages with images.

Images are a good thing to bring readers closer to your direction. Over stuffing isn't a good thing. Images renamed with a keyword is okay,but shouldn't be abused. Of course only use  images that you have  rights to.

Just adding images wont serve any purpose. You need to add links to it & add description so that it will be indexed in google images. So whenever somebody searches for a specific picture in Google Picture, your pics may turn up & chances are that they will be taken to your site. Icy & Simple but above all...highly defective.

When I visit ifp3 sites, I see that the majority of them have links to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter..... Are these social media sites working as advertising for you or are they just for fun? Has anyone sold an image to a total stranger through a social media introduction?

Seems to me like most new business is received through word of mouth and Facebook is a great way for your clients "friends" and family to find you...... Is this true?
