我带着的一个学生，在做口语练习的时候经常说，"I went to home earlier this afternoon." ....
"go to home" 在语法上不是正确的。应该是"go home", 但我们说" go to school". 这是因为什么呢？
"go to school" "go there"
"come to the office" "come here"
"take it to your teacher" " take it home"
To 在这里表示“往.....（方向）”，和动词构成短语用在副词前面的时候，通常把 to 省略。所以，
eg. It took us a long time to get there. (而不是get to there)
Take the homework home and bring it to school tomorrow morning.
这是我们常用到的三个副词，前面省略 to.

我们说"go home", 但在表示“去某人的家”时，home 前面有修饰词时，就不能把 to 省略。而是：
I will go to my friend's home and play games with hime tomorrow.
