Then just forget about this photograph (plus don't make friends with insensitive people who're going to make stupid jokes about a photo's image) and focus on your real looks. This is what matters most. It's even better when you're not that good looking on the photos because when people see you in person you'll exceed their expectations.
For example, you're dating someone who thinks you're a 3/10 but when she sees you in person and you're appearing as a 6/10, it'll be a real nice surprise!
The problem is when people use too many filters and give fake impressions -- they expect you to be a 7/10 and when they see you even as a 6/10 and they're thinking "Nah... he's not what I expected." and if during the date you can't satisfy their other expectations (personality, income, status, gestures, voice, frame, intellect level, hobbies, etc.) you're not accepted.
