Platypus

Platypus is a very cute animal I think. And it's famous enough in China, as far as I know :) Well, at least I know about it, for sure.  ;D
Some more information about this Australian interesting and lovely animal:

I thought the platypus was only in Australia but could be wrong.

Here is another Aussie animal.

The birthing process of a kangaroo.

During the gestation process the baby kangaroo can develop but then stop and be "in suspense" before it can develop again. When a female gives birth the baby will be less than two grams in weight. It will climb into the mother's pouch for protection and stay in that area for about nine months. The mother cannot touch it so she will have to lick a path in her fur along for the baby kangaroo to move in. Female can also delay the development of a baby. This is if there is a drought condition.
