It's easy to get: 'word', 'phrase', 'pass-': 'pass-word', 'pass-phrase', i.e. password, passphrase (pl. passwords, passphrases).
Well, which is better? Some passphrase could be better than some password and vice verse (vice versa), depends of which one is more difficult to guess. For example:
1. The phrase (passphrase) "I love apples, oranges, bananas, pumpkins and cucumbers." is better than the word (password) 'Food'.
2. The password 'L321798MkoqjBcdopO0590w8546kffyyy7' is better than the passphrase "I love you".
