It's a very descriptive lifecycle and I know it's valid for many of the websites, but I'll share may experience: some websites exist only a year (or less), because their owners can't earn even enough to pay their domain and hosting. In this category I do include some websites that provide very good services, but they're not popular enough (no budget for advertisement, many competitors, poor SEO, etc.) The last time I was surprised to see an article directory website is not existing anymore. (If I knew it, I could keep somewhere in my PC the articles, which were submitted there, because I'd like to resubmit them here, of course if they're not submitted anywhere else online. But, nobody knows the future.

About the languages: on average people here can use 3, I think (for example my wife can speak Chinese, English and Cantonese /a Chinese dialect used in Hongkong, Macao, Guangdong province and some other places/). I'm above the average with Bulgarian (+ the similar Macedonian), Russian, Chinese and some others (like a poor Korean, poor Arab, poor Tatar and poor Turkish : ).
When I was in Libya, there was a doctor from Egypt, who said something simple, but wise: "You are learning Arab, English, Korean and Chinese now, at the same time?! Better learn only one foreign language, but learn it excellent, than learning so many foreign languages and knowing them just so-so all your life." That's why recently I'm paying attention only to English and to Chinese.
Your aid, Mojo, is when I (we) read your posts. They're pretty educative in one or another level.
