Shortnose Gar is invasive alien species, native to North America. Its eggs are highly toxic and inedible. Adult Shortnose Gar can be more than 3 meters long, they are large carnivorous ferocious fish and will attack all other fish they meet.
Shortnose Gar is one of the world's top ten freshwater ferocious fish. Now they mostly live in tropical rivers of the United States, West Indies and some other places.
