Shanghai Shengjianbao

Shengjianbao, also known as Shengjian mantou, is a type of small, pan-fried baozi which is a delicious specialty of Shanghai and they are the favorite for people there. I ate once when I traveled to Shanghai, they were really tasty.
The food is everywhere in Shanghai, which contains many kinds of spices and fillings. It is usually filled with pork and gelatin that melts into soup/liquid when cooked. It has been one of the most common breakfast items in Shanghai for the last century. As a ubiquitous breakfast item, it has a significant place in Shanghainese culture.

Yes. They're tasty. I ate them 4-5 times as I remember. Delicious, but caloric and you shouldn't eat them every day if you want low calorie diet. :) :)
