It's a pity that nobody speaks Japanese around. I tried to learned it twice but later decided to spend the time for something more useful (the first time it was the Chinese language because I wanted to be perfect in Chinese and to become a Chinese citizen; well, later the neoimperatorization, Xi-zation of China changed my mind. The second time it was the sports -- yoga, aerobics, chess, self-defense, fitness)... Now I'm trying to learn Khmer and so, no time for Japanese again. Of course, if you really want to learn something, you'll find at least 5 minutes a day for it. But my wish to speak/understand Japanese now is almost "zero". It's not useful for my communications (only two Japanese people around me and they do speak English) and I do prefer to upgrade more my Chinese, English, Russian, Korean and Khmer.
