Why the endless life is good

by Geser Kurultaev

I wondered how that's possible there are men and women who don't want to live forever, just because "It'll be surely boring", because "There is no sense to live forever", because "Life is suffering" and other similar justifications! All of them are just people without enough imagination and/or without enough education.
There are some "yes" (some "pro-") about how well is to live forever:
 1. Let's start with the money (the material things), because for many people nowadays (it's pretty reasonable) this is the most important (or one of the most important things). If currently an average life is around 80 (or even 120) years and you can save only 1 dollar a day, it's clear, that in a year you'll save only around 365 dollars. Can you make some quality business with this money? Can you buy a home? Probably not.
And now just imagine you can live and save money at least 50 000 years? 1 dollar a day. Definitely you'll have millions of dollars (as savings), and you will have a not bad business or a good new home.
 2. Imagine if Lao Zi, Kant or Hegel were still alive and could comment about or communicate with Lenin, chairman Mao and so on? So, just try to imagine and to understand what you will miss about the future thinkers (philosophers), politicians, actors, singers, painters, computer games and so on, if you die (if you don't live forever)!
As long as you live, as much interesting and/or useful things you will see (learn, experience) in the future from the science, the art and so on.
 3. If you live forever, you will be able to learn all the sciences, you will be able to watch all the movies, you will be able to listen to all the songs (operas, concerts...), to travel to all the desired places on Earth (and maybe in the space some day), if you wish.
 4. If you live forever, you'll benefit from the future great science discoveries and technical inventions, which now you even can't imagine.
Just think about it -- if now Socrates or Confucius were able to use a metro or Descartes to play some computer game...
 5. In many cases dying is related to pain, suffocation, long term sufferings and other unpleasant feeling and experiences. Why you need all these, if you could live forever and never die?! For sure the self-preservation instinct is a very basic and strong instinct.
 6. When it comes to instincts, think about the libido (i.e. the desire for sexual activity). I'm not going to continue more about it...
I hope that all these points are enough.

What is an ideal woman (or at least - a good woman)
« Reply #2 on: June 02, 2016, 04:36:33 AM »

The ideal woman

The ideal itself is, by definition, not existing. So, if not about the ideal women, let's think about the good ones.

What is the good woman

Undoubtfully many of the young women want to develop themselves well and to be as better as possible, as "true women" as possible, as successful as possible and so on. But how many (or, I'm afraid I have to say "nearly most") of the women deal with this dream (this goal)? They develop and they care about their appearance, so they are into: fitness (aerobics, etc.), make up (cosmetics), clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories (bags, belts, scarves, watches, rings, etc.) and even -- not that necessary plastic surgeries!
All these women forget (or they never knew) that the women (and the men, as well) aren't only appearance and body. I don't mean the so called "soul" and "spirit". These two are just religious concepts, scientifically unproven and that's why I don't want to write about them. What I mean is that a person is not just a body and face; a person is also: mind/thinking/psyche/knowledge/behavior. I'm talking in this scientific materialism sense.
Taking care about our appearances (bodies) via fitness, washing, taking a shower and so on, is important, but more important is the care about our brains (mind, thinking, knowledge, etiquette, ethics, behavior). That is why it's good for the young women (and not only for them, because the human beings may learn and develop themselves all life long), when they're not busy with job (or other duties) to take some time and to learn more about (for example): Hegel, Marx, Engels, Lenin, etc. (philosophy), Renoir, Rubens, etc. (art), English, Spanish, Russian, Korean, etc. (foreign languages)... It's also good to read or watch more local and world news, to learn some geopolitics... All this learning -- slowly, step by step. The point is not one to exhaust herself or himself, but somehow, to learn more or less, because only charm, beauty and sexual attractiveness (a.k.a. 'sex appeal') aren't enough for the personal wholeness (i.e. not enough for being a real good person). There are other necessary things, as I already mentioned some of them, as: knowledge, the way of behaving in life (etiquette, morals), dignity and so on. (If it comes to women with husbands and kids, then it's already more complicated: good parenting, cooking and other housework (no matter if it's shared with the husband and/or with the kids, or it's individual).)
So, as a conclusion, I can say that the ideal (or the good) woman is the harmony developed woman. The harmonic development means that a person is developed not only in 1 or 2 aspects: you're not a harmony developed person, if you only have good knowledge, but you're obese, because of lack of sport activity or you can't cook a simple dish. Or, you're not harmony developed person, if you're with good body and good cooking skills, but your personal hygiene is low and you and you have no idea about the reality around you (elementary particles, atoms, molecules, microorganisms, animals, people, political and economical situation, cultural and scientific events, countries, world, galaxy, universe).
 That's the way it is.
