somethings definitely going on they keep putting out so much disclosure material. are we going to be attacked by aliens? or will they make it look like an attack?

Not necessary. It's just an interesting topic and we - the scientists (I am a philosopher, for example) and the journalists like to "exploiting the issue".
As I mentioned before it's not sure that Aliens exist plus it's not sure that they're going to all friendly and safe for us. That's why I think the scientist is right that we have to be prepared.
