Thank you for the memories. I have been to Eze and it is magnificent. It has been described as an “eagle's nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean.

The Cathedral in Milan you just stand in front of it in awe. The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete and I think it is about the 4th largest cathedral in the world.

Doesn't Colmar look so beautiful with the potplants hanging from the windows. It is just so European.

The Millau

France has completed work on the Millau Bridge, one of the largest construction projects in Europe. We drove over that we felt like we were in a plane.

That is a worry for all Chinese Women.  I think I would have to suggest to my husband he had better be HIV tested to protect us both.

I prefer facebook myself.  I am able to keep in contact with family and friends as that is the one they use.

I heard that on Australian news. That is good news for the Chinese. Many people in China own cars, would you say that there would be more cars in China than bicycle owners. I would think it would be quicker to get around in some cases on bicycles or scooters.

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (600028) and PetroChina Co. (857), the nation’s biggest refiners, face more losses from processing crude after the government cut fuel prices by the most since 2008 as global crude costs tumbled.

State-controlled retail gasoline prices fall by 530 yuan ($83) a metric ton and diesel by 510 yuan starting today, the National Development and Reform Commission, the nation’s top economic planner, said on its website yesterday. The cut is the steepest since the government’s current pricing system was introduced in December 2008.

Is that right SEO. Perhaps they want a lot of their people to die at an early age as that is what it does.

In France and Italy they smoke like trains so whether they are cheap there I don't know.

I used to smoke as did most people in the 1960's.  Ads were on t.v. You went to the docs he smoked, ashtray on his desk. We were not educated like the young ones of today.

I gave up 14 years ago.  Mainly because I couldn't afford it anymore but I am pleased I did as I am sure I have benefited from it health wise.

« on: June 08, 2012, 01:52:17 PM »
I hadn't heard of this diet but it is interesting and is healthy which has to come first.

Agree about fad diet. Absolutely ridiculous as all diets are.  You change your lifestyle, eat well. You will be rewarded with your health.

Eating less is what we all should do.  I made it easier by eating off a smaller plate. About 12 years ago my husband had health problems and we did change our life style and the doctors are very pleased with him.

We all like the beauty side of it no matter what age we are.

An excellent article and I can guarantee that eating healthy and exercising you will benefit you in the later years.

Thank you.  I live in a little village just over 200 homes for over 50's.  I would say 95% have their wine, sherry or beer each day. It is funny about 4.00p.m. you see quite a few people walking down the street with the glass of wine or what ever visiting friends.  Haven't quite worked out why they just don't leave a bottle at the people's place.  Perhaps they are worried they will take a nip.

This Sunday we are having ladies over for wine and nibbles.

Cheers to everyone.

I was lucky enough to go snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef at Cairns.  It is beautiful. If you ever get a chance to swim amongst any coral take it as you will never forget it.

I read somewhere that it is a gift. You should take care of it, cultivate it for accuracy and don't talk about it too much with others as that spoils some of the spontaniety and clarity. Don't interpret what you see as that is called "colouring." Just stay tuned to what you "see" and leave it at that.

I can't say I have experienced it.  I have thought that would be great if such and such happened but then it is a fluke.

Wouldn't it be great to predict the X Lotto.

An amazing story.  He did die a hero.  We hear a lot of men and women dying in war as a hero but in peace times amazing.  Wu Bin certainly was a special person towards his fellow human beings.

RIP

Now that is unbelievable isn't it.  Surely they must have some sort of test before they go on the show.  Or her mind went blank and she was so nervous.  I think she is plain stupid though.
