SEO / Re: how to focus on a particular keyword in seo
« on: July 29, 2017, 03:17:06 PM »
The focus keyword is the keyword that you want your page to rank for, so when people search for that keyword, they’ll find you. In Yoast SEO it has its own input field. The plugin evaluates the page’s content and provides feedback on how to improve the content for that focus keyword.

Option 1 – Can you just 404 the linked-to pages
Option 2 – Request a link removal
Option 3 – Use Google’s link disavow tool
Option 4 – Ditch the affected site

SEO / Re: What is the difference between SEM and PPC?
« on: July 06, 2017, 12:31:21 PM »
SEM. SEM is also known as Search Engine Marketing. It is done to increase the visibility of a website on the search engines. It includes a variety of marketing techniques under its umbrella, such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Reputation Management.

PPC is also known as Pay Per Click advertising. Businesses that do PPC are the ones running the ads you see at the top and right-hand sides of the screen on search engine results pages. The ads themselves are free to run. An advertiser only pays when someone actually clicks on their ad…hence the name “pay per click.”
