Paranormal / Re: Is it possible to communicate with the dead people?
« on: July 10, 2019, 10:22:21 AM »
In Western countries I believe it is an extremely difficult thing to believe. But in Asian countries, let's say take my country as example, we do have a ritual in which the shaman will summon the soul of a deceased person (normally it is a relative of a family) and let it "possess" a living person. The soul will speak and answer questions through that possessed person.
Interesting enough, that soul can answer exactly what happened years ago, including things which only that soul or his/her family know.
When the ritual is done, the summoned soul will go away and the possessed person becomes him/herself again. Though depending on different people, they may experience tiredness.

This sort of ritual still exists nowadays, though it is no longer common. And of course, there are fake shamans who cannot summon souls, they exploit people's lack of knowledge to scam.

SEO / Re: Is it hard to SEO an Amazon link on Google?
« on: July 25, 2017, 03:03:08 PM »
It's an interesting SEO case. Do you know what is my suggestion? In order to be sure is it really harder than the others, you may check how is your ranking in other search engines SERPs: check it in Yahoo.com, Bing.com, Yandex.ru (Yandex.com), Baidu.com... and then you may make some conclusions is it only a matter of the Google's algorithms or it's really objectively harder (and slower).

I'll be glad, if you share your results here later. I'll be glad too to read more about it (opinions) of other SEO members over here in this omnilogy SEO and non-SEO international forum. :)

Sorry I was a bit busy so forgot to rep. Your idea is quite interesting, I haven't check on other search engine but I think I should try it soon.
By the way is Yandex.ru is a browser in Russia? (the tail ".ru")

SEO / Is it hard to SEO an Amazon link on Google?
« on: July 19, 2017, 03:06:23 PM »
Recently I'm planning Amazon SEO and I'm wondering: is doing SEO for an AMZ link on google is harder than normal link (like blog, my own page, etc...)?
I've run a SEO plan for 3 links, 1 is amazon link and it index too slow, much slower than other 2.

Following our community for awhile I've noticed there are no music thread so far. So for such a cool "ice breaker", what're you listening to currently?
For now I listen to Persona 5 OST, guess I'm too into the game :P.

SEO / Re: SEO tools
« on: June 12, 2017, 05:39:07 PM »
Hmm, currently I mostly use Ahrefs for checking backlinks and SEO Quake for keywords density checking, and Moz for DA/PA checking. I've seen Ahrefs and Moz all over the place so I think they are good for their purposes. I haven't tested other tools, but for now there is little reason for me to do that.
I haven't use plagiarism checker since I have no needs for its so far. Probably in the future since I'm working on the writing.

Internet / Re: Working online and the office
« on: June 09, 2017, 04:07:13 PM »
Eh... not really. This is based purely on my experience though but I think it depends on Internet quality. In my place Internet quality isn't same at every places. At my home, I really hesitate to use Internet since it's so bad for no reason, while working at the company is much better.
And this is the issue, I and my brother often call the Internet service occasionally (like once per month?...) and they often "fix" problem... Temporary... It works about half a month and then thing starts to become &^*%& again (sorry, I'm really pissed off while expressing this). We agree that we should change the Internet service, but then my brother keeps hesitating... *sign*...

« on: June 09, 2017, 11:41:54 AM »
So recently I'm planning to get a drawing tablet for my drawing work (rpg game making stuff) so that I can digital draw on Photoshop easier. Drawing with paper and pencil are a must but still I've to bring it to the computer. So is there anyone has experience with these kinds of product? I haven't deal with this kind of product before so desperately need suggestion and advice :(.
Thanks!

SEO / Re: Which SEO Techniques are Popular?
« on: June 09, 2017, 11:36:05 AM »
It's mostly, when you just make your site with amazing, helpful, etc. content and you take care so well, that the result is (later) as you used a lot of SEO (but you didn't). The Green hat SEO is something like hatless SEO, when you make the website for the people and the visitors, not for the 'machines' (search engines, bots, crawlers and so on).

I think some good simple example maybe a viral website (a very popular website), which owner has no idea of SEO (or didn't use some particular SEO means), but the users liked the website and started to visit it often, to share it, to popularize it offline (to brand it in one of another way) and then all these measures are as a result of the 'hatless', i.e. the green SEO (he, she or they just did the viral website and 'it' took care by itself :D).

All I can recommend is green SEO + (at least some) white SEO.

This is not really related to SEO but in case of viral website, to me it sounds like Youtuber creating their channels. Of course they are not the same but I mean the concept is pretty similar: creating good contents (videos), people watch it, people like, and people just start to share, subscribe, like the channel and gradually the channel becomes more popular. I don't know whether Youtubers use some sort of "marketing strategy" or not but so far I think not. At most, gaming Youtubers often stream on Twitch, which is also a good place to promote themselves and their Youtube channel as well.

Psychology / Re: Online therapy
« on: June 08, 2017, 02:58:03 PM »
Well I agree with that. I've learned from a teacher who works in psychology and psychological for 15 years and once he told me this: normally working in therapy requires face-to-face meeting and conversation since only then the therapists can understand their patient problem and feeling. While talking online (or rather, chatting online), therapists can't see patients' face and they can understand how their patients feel for sure. This is especially important since many patients don't even know what kind of problems they are facing, in many cases they even ignore their current mind conditions (like believing they are 100% true and all other people are wrong).
And so... yeah, I don't believe in online therapy, unless they can talk face-to-face but if it's just posting and chatting then no. Sorry resolving issues don't work that way.

SEO / Guest Posting/Blogging?
« on: June 07, 2017, 11:45:44 AM »
It has been a long time and now I'm finally back to the SEO business again XD.
But anyway, recently I've been told that guest posting/blogging is better and much more popular for link buildings currently. I've also taken a bit research about it and basically I understand it as asking another site owners (blog, newspaper, etc...) to publish my articles, including links point to my ranking site. Of course related sites are necessary to have a quality link; however, I don't think asking other owners to publish my article isn't that easy (unlike what my friend said which sounded too easy to be true).
And so I would like hear some more opinion about it, is it excellent for page ranking and is it hard to do it (I mean it must require some sort of planning right?)?

Love / Re: What is Love?
« on: November 22, 2016, 04:28:52 AM »
Love, according to biological scientific research, then it is reaction of chemical substances within our brain. Those substances stimulate our so-called feeling: 'love' or 'attracted' to someone. Those substances tend to be produced many at first (beginning of love), but after 3 years the substances reduce, and that's why after a while of marriage the couples start to 'war' due to the fact that they start to see 'reality' or 'bad things' about their loved one. But what to do after that is another story.
...Anyway this is based on what I read, "Why man wants sex and woman needs love" by Allan and Barbara Pease, if I remember right.

Health / Re: Fat
« on: November 22, 2016, 04:23:47 AM »
Let see... what kind of exactly 'fat' we are talking about here since I'm pretty sure there are many kinds of 'fat'.
But if it is too fat then of course it is extremely not good for health. Also the bad thing is that fat people kinda have a really difficult time in trying to lose weight.
Sad thing is, fat people are tend to be 'humiliated' or 'discriminated' (atleast in my region). So they try to lose weight, but it needs extremely strong will to do that. As when they go out (I mean literally, they cannot just stay at home forever), they have the feeling of being judged/discriminated/humiliated. They start to feel bad about themselves again. And this is the time of hardship: will they try to keep losing weight as planned? Or they think that they are 'nothing', then they eat again to feel good (funny thing is, eating can actually ease pain temporary since it prevents our mind from thinking)? So yeah... it is hard for them, and I dun think they will think 'fat is good' neither.

Health / Re: Alcohol consumption
« on: November 22, 2016, 04:17:18 AM »
My cousin was addicted to drinking alcohol after her parents' divorce. she was always drunk two years ago, and now she is suffering from a stomachache :(
Hope that you guys should protect your health, don't consume too much alcohol.

Interestingly enough, people who excessively use alcohols tend to be people with serious problems in their life (divorce, job-less, families issue, .etc...). They tend to use alcohol as a method to ease the pain, but sad thing is that 'method' is only short term method. After they drunk, they wake up in the morning, they back to reality and see the their problem again, and then they keep drinking with hope that problem will 'magically' disappear.
That's what I mostly see in my region in term of alcohol. My current neighborhood also has the same problem but somehow... more tragic. The youngest son of that family always get drunk (let see approximately 3-4 days/week, and yes I count as day not times). Everytime he get drunk, his mother scolds him, and then he insults his very blood-related mother (no kidding, it's real). And then his older brother scolds and insults him, that older brother is really mad and he wants to kick the younger brother many times but the mother stops him from doing that. And as you guess the cycle keeps continuing (younger bro get drunk - mother scold - older bro scold - mother defend the younger bro - again). In this case somehow I would say it is more tragic than having some one lost cuz... this is serious conflict between the people within the same family, blood-related.

SEO / Re: Which SEO Techniques are Popular?
« on: November 22, 2016, 04:06:28 AM »
Green hat SEO is when you make your website very well: good, interesting, useful content; good on-page SEO. Then it's so OK, that the SEO (natural link-building, viral/popular, more visitors, etc.) happens without any other SEO.
I hope this definition is good enough. :)

I'm not sure if they are any different with White-Hat SEO but still, from your explaination Green-Hat is taken from "nature" perspective (I mean natural and stuff :D)
