Title: How about allowing non-mods to edit their own posts?
Post by: Aquonut on June 09, 2024, 11:10:40 AM
I appreciate this forum a lot, but tbh, being inable to edit my own posts is really annoying and troublesome.
I've petitioned to letting us non-mods edit our own posts far early, but there are still no changes.
I will really be happy if the mods can allow us to edit our own posts!

1/ We can't. Spammers are coming. At first they post non-anchor links posts to look non-spammy but later they secretly edit their posts and the Search engines are punishing the forum with downgrading it in the SERPs, which leads to losses of ads income.

2/ Many of the users will start to delete their posts and the forum will lose the capital (content).

Sorry, but denied. It's a costly forum and I have to earn back a lot of investment. This policy stays unchangeable.

Never allow it if you want a secured forum!

All of you guys who post here signed the agreement when registered and there is clearly stipulated that what you post here is already the forum's property as soon as you click "post".

不怎么样。

 ;D

From the begnning of the agrement everyone signs here "If you really want to register an account on this site, you are giving up all legal rights to anything you post here. This means we own your account, we own your posts, we own everything here. If you are not okay with this agreement, simply don't register an account here!!!"

Yes. Many forums disallowed this.

It's definitely frustrating not being able to edit your own posts, especially when you notice a mistake or want to add something. Hopefully, the mods will consider this feedback and implement a change soon!

It's definitely suspicious how your first post is about not being able to edit your own posts. You have NO other posts. I bet you're a bot and I am going to ban the bot if it spams!

Well brocel, but not to speak in a way that I am a very 'critical' user, but you are gonna 'lose' me.
You see how my explanation is always in vain because they always ignore and how I am always misthought to be a liar or dishonest.
I have done anything that I should do but so what? Misunderstanding, misprojection, and suspect are still out there.
Your forum is very good but trust me there are people who gonna ruin this forum into oblivion, including this member Деси, who has irritated me for multiple times with for instance my wealth, and I don't see she has noticed anything like I have been enduring her as best as I can.
Anyway I ask for register-off, not saying your forum is bad but there is no point for me to still stay here.

You are bringing back old topics, she commented, you started to offense her rudely and then, once again, who is ruining the forum?

Oh, of course not. You show ultrapoliteness already, especially to Desi. We know you are the most polite Chinese incel in the entire world. ;)

You are a liar and you spread multiple times lies that Desi was raped by her father when she was a little girl, that she works as a janitor and her manager rapes her, that she works as a sexworker, that she is an obese person, also those previous fake messages and hallucinations that someone insults you, press you to buy the not-for-sale forum and do on.

We don't think of you as a precious for the community person because of all these problems above and additionally because you got insane contradicting behaviour: you are saying the forum is good but in the same day/days you call it f*ked + you want your account to be disabled but then you re-register new account and starts more lies, innuendos, obscene posts and the rest of your unique crazy-ness. So to "lose" a damaging our reputation, earnings and mood incel like you is a winning and a relief!
