You know the bell curve (a.k.a. normal distribution or Gaussian distribution). The majority of the people around the world are 4/10 to 6/10. Being a 5/10 (in the eyes of the beholders) isn't something unusual. So, you are just normal.
Instead of spending money for (risky) surgeries (who said it will be successful anyway?) better invest that amount in business (moneymaxxing), education (edumaxxing) and gyms (gymmaxxing). A richer, stronger and smarter Chinese boy is better than just a prettier (but poorer, less educated and skinny or fatty) Chinese boy. In a long term relationship your face means nothing. She will need your money, strength and knowledge (your kids too).

I think if you're really a solid 5 now, gymmaxx + moneymaxx will add up 0.5 each and you're going to be a solid 6. Later when you got good carrier (statusmaxx), you're a solid 7. You will be in the top 30%, bro. Not everyone is that lucky.

Who said you're 5/10? Boys/males or girls/females? You should care more about the females' opinion. Don't get discouraged by some males who may just want to upset you badly.
You should become a man that can satisfy a woman. And it's not only the image/looks. Try to develop more powerful attractions like money, property, successful business, healthy and sexy body, neat style, ,good car... etc. Then learn how to respect and care about her, her family and relatives, friends.
I worry that you may find a girl but you may haven't the ability to satisfy her needs. It takes a lot to satisfy a present modern woman.

Both. I think the biggest culprit is my photographic skill, and the secondary biggest culprit is my nose. After getting a rhino I will not do anything anymore.

The nose is the most subjective thing in the looks. The Eastern ladies like big noses (like Andy Lau's and most of the Western guys') but the Western ladies prefer smaller and cuter noses. If you change your nose it'll become prettier in one part of the world but uglier in another one. Be careful what you do with your body. Spend your capital smartly.
