BE （am, is, are ) 我们称之为BE动词。
在英语中，不同的人称用不同的BE动词。即 “我”用am, “你”用are, 单数ta 都用is. 我们你们他们(复数）都用are.
例如：I AM a student.
You ARE a boy.
She IS a beautiful girl.
He IS clever.
It IS so lovely.
That book IS interesting.
We / You / They ARE all here.
My friends ARE very kind.
在中文里，BE 经常为“是”。例如: I am a student. 我是一个学生。
She is a beautiful girl. 她是一个漂亮女孩。
但有时候在中文里没有表示出来的。例如：
That book is very interesting. 那本书很有趣。
My friends are very kind. 我的朋友都很好。
要看英文的句子中是否需要用BE动词作为谓语动词（连系动词）。应该用的时候不要忘了加上去。
eg：衣服在床上。 The clothes ARE on the bed.
