What do we mean by a top level domain ?
-
TLD.

It's interesting. It's not for the first time. Someone who is well educated in SEO and/or computer/software problems is posting a simple question like this one. Why? Does he/she really don't know the answer? Does he/she just need to collect/create more posts before starts to promote their links? Does he/she is so good that he/she wants to help our forum with more topics? ;D
And concretely -- so easy to find the information about it online (in this case -- in Wikipedia): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-level_domain (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-level_domain).

Top-level domain (TLD) refers to the last segment of a domain name, or the part that follows immediately after the "dot" symbol.
