I don't know all of them, but the ones I remember are: 紫罗兰 (it's in Chinese /ziluolan/ and the word means this flower: http://www.bing.com/knows/search?q=%E7%B4%AB%E7%BD%97%E5%85%B0&mkt=zh-cn&FORM=BKACAI (http://www.bing.com/knows/search?q=%E7%B4%AB%E7%BD%97%E5%85%B0&mkt=zh-cn&FORM=BKACAI)) and margarita.
 Pretty cocktails! :)

Nicely done. Always love to see good images. Often they show what can't be said in words.

Thank you for sharing.

I just wanted to ask you about the bars around you there and I'm glad that you found this topic by yourself :) (I already got some impressions from your town recently when you posted about the traffic, supermarkets, food, noise and other facts there, but we never had a talk about the bars :D). Do you visit them sometimes? What do you drink? And what are the favorite cocktails over there, according to your experience?
(I'll answer first: I drink only beers and wine, because I'm against the hard alcohol like vodka, whiskey, rakia /https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakia/, baijiu /https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baijiu/, but I can have some cocktails, because their alcohol percentage isn't so high... And as a fan of the aesthetics, fairy tales and 'magic' festivals like Halloween, I think there is something pretty and attractive in the cocktails exposed under bar lights :D ;)).

Laws against driving while under the influence are pretty strict here. You don't have to be drunk to get a ticket. As little as 1 beer, depending on your body weight and the alcoholic content is enough. Since you have to drive everywhere to do anything, being able to drive is much more important to me. So I don't go to bars.

Add to this that getting a ticket under DUI means you will pay for an education class and attend, your insurance will be cancelled and when you go to get another policy, you will find your insurance costs have at least at a minimum tripled if not more.

Most of the time I will drink one maybe two beers if I am at home and do them only when I am grilling outside and not going to drive anywhere.

Never really did get into liquors so no mixed drinks nor strong ones.

Oh-h-h, that's pretty inconvenient. :( If I have to give up my 4 beers a week, my 1 bottle of wine a week or my cocktails (sometimes)  ;D, I'll get seriously depressed.  :P The difference here is -- we have no car and we use only buses and sometimes -- taxis.
A bit of off-topic: How about your town buses and taxis? Are they not so available or the people just don't have the habit to use them anymore?

Buses and taxis? Haa! I live in a one horse town the horse got up and left. You have to have people in order to support a taxi and the nearest taxi service I know of is 70 miles away; one way.

I'm not sure where the bus is but it isn't like you think of being in the city. Here a bus outside of big cities runs once a day, if you are lucky. Some may run 3 times a week. Many of the small towns don't have a bus stop and you have to go to another town to catch it.

There is a railroad track not far but not for passengers. No place to get on it. It's a freight line. Not uncommon to see 100 car trains or trains that need two engines to pull them all.

Do you know, in some places there is an interesting service: drunken people may call a company, which sends them a driver, who can drive them and their cars to their homes, because he is sober. Convenient, legal and no problem with the traffic police. Maybe it's another good business idea for those towns around there without bus lines and taxi services. :)

Yes, that service exists in the largest city nearest me. I know of an on-line fellow who does this. They have a team, one drives the passenger's car home, the other provides transport for the passenger.

This reminded me a modern proverb: If you discover something today, it's already discovered in the US. If it's still not, then probably it's something useless. ;D (I don't remember the right quote.)

Interesting saying, I had not heard this before.
