 4. Kimchi

I missed this kind of food. Now is so hot outside. I wanted to eat something cool (or cold) and my choice was some gimbaps and cold Korean noodles:
It was a very good dinner, in my opinion. 8)

Two Korean dishes from a new Korean restaurant

I was glad to find a new Korean restaurant. Small, but with nice modern Korean decoration. I ordered 2 favorite Korean dishes of mine:

We had some discounts for a new local Korean restaurant and we tried some Korean food:

1. (http://i64.tinypic.com/65vqes.jpg) -- rice, tasty pickles, omelette, vegetables.

2. (http://i66.tinypic.com/fm03mp.jpg) and (http://i63.tinypic.com/148q1p5.jpg) -- tasty and delicious gimbap.

3. (http://i63.tinypic.com/n471o1.jpg) -- a kind of boiled noodles with tuna (tuna fish), kimchi (김치), etc.

 I like Korean food so much! 8) :-* 8)

Korean (North-Korean) dishes

And now -- including some Korean (North-Korean) dishes in this topic:

:)
Title: Cold noodles from a Chinese restaurant
Post by: MSL on July 26, 2017, 01:48:48 AM
These are cold noodles, but from a non-Korean (a small Chinese) restaurant. They're tasty and I liked that there are so many quail eggs inside, but the spicy flavor was a bit different and this was the thing I disliked. Anyway, I may vote 8/10 or 9/10 for this dish -- not bad! A photo: (http://i68.tinypic.com/2u9s85x.jpg).  8)
You know me -- I'm a fan of this dish, but because of my recent diet (and my strong will 8)) I eat it very, very rare recently. :)

We had no water today at home, so we had to eat outside. We found a comparatively cheap Korean restaurant in a mall and we had these dishes: (http://i67.tinypic.com/k1982d.jpg) -- Korean pickled radish and kimchi, (http://i63.tinypic.com/351bnno.jpg) -- Korean gimbap, (http://i66.tinypic.com/2h7e2wk.jpg) -- Korean cold noodles (냉면 or 랭면) and (http://i64.tinypic.com/16ifibq.jpg) -- Korean niangao with cheese. (Maybe in Korean it's "찹쌀떡", but I'm not sure is it the same kind. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapssal-tteok (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapssal-tteok) -- some information about it in Wikipedia.)
It was a good and delicious lunch.
Title: Korean food from a North Korean restaurant in China

Korean food from a North Korean restaurant in China

Korean food from a North Korean restaurant in China: 1. (http://i63.tinypic.com/ivzqrp.jpg) -- they have got a strong wasabi flavor. 2. The second one was one of my favorites -- the Korean cold noodles (Naengmyeon (냉면) or raengmyŏn (랭면)): (http://i63.tinypic.com/2mpevc0.jpg). Noodles, pineapple, apple, kimchi, etc. Very yummy! 8) 3. Another photo of the same Korean cold noodles dish: (http://i66.tinypic.com/ta24xu.jpg).
