Title: Freelancing sites for writers

I would love to earn money writing articles and I have tried freelancing sites like Freelancer, Odesk, Elance, etc and I feel the money they pay per article ($3 per 500 words) is very less, are there other ones where I can earn at least $5 per 500 words?

  I don't know, because I don't write now. But I do strongly agree, that at least $5 per 500 words is better! 8)

very true, $3 per 500 words is very less. The best way if you want to earn a good amount writing is to create your website and optimize it to achieve a top ranking in Google.

I used to write in Elance and I was charging $4 per 500 words, but once I had a good profile rating and review, I started charging $7 per 500 words, I got less clients though but it was worth it.
