Title: Game "Guess the language"
Post by: 可心 on March 18, 2011, 03:14:11 PM
  Let's start a new game--"Guess the language".
One chooses a word from foreign languages and others guess what language it is or even translate it if they are able to.
I know this game from a foreigner.  :D
Title: Հայկական
Post by: 可心 on March 18, 2011, 03:19:34 PM
;D I guess I have to be the first one.
  Հայկական
What language is it and what's the meaning? /if you can ;)/
Title: Հայկական is an Armenian word and means "Armenian"
Post by: 英语课 on March 18, 2011, 11:23:55 PM
At first I thought that it is Thai, but then I realised that Հայկական is an Armenian word. Moreover it means Armenian (adj.). In fact it is so easy to play this game, because we have the opportunity to use a lot of automated online translators like this one http://translate.google.com.hk . Nevertheless, it makes the game better, because it becomes more educational to everyone. That's why I will go on with this language game  ;D
Title: 放射線
Post by: 英语课 on March 18, 2011, 11:26:40 PM

Title: CIN
Post by: SEO on August 19, 2011, 06:07:59 PM
CIN :

"extern istream cin;

Standard input stream
cin is an object of class istream that represents the standard input stream. It corresponds to the cstdio stream stdin.

By default, most systems get their standard input from the keyboard, therefore cin is generally expected to get information from the user, although there are many cases where this can be redirected to some other source.

Because cin is an object of class istream, we can retrieve characters from cin either as formatted data using the extraction operator (>>) or as unformatted data using the read member function, among others (see istream).

cin is tied (see ios::tie) to the standard output stream cout, which means that cout's buffer is flushed (see ostream::flush) before each i/o operation performed on cin.
