Title: Position of Keywords in title tags??

I shifted most important keyword from 1st position to last in title tag of my home page yesterday. Today I observe a downfall in the ranking of that Keyword. Is it due to the above change ? Please share.

I know that if you want get higher rank in any search engine then must required optimize Meta tags and title tags. It is really Great observation.
