My Halloween(31.10.2013)
It was a good day, a pretty night and an amazing night at this
Halloween(
31.10.2013).
At first I had nice dinner -- Sharan plakiya(Шаран плакия), which is a traditional Bulgarian fish dish and the dessert was a typical
Halloween dessert: bananas like ghosts and tangerines like pumpkins.
After that we went to the local Starbucks, because we saw online that there will be some
Halloween party. And there was! A waitress with a mask invited us to come in and to watch the party. We went there. I decided to order something, because it was my first time in Starbucks. I saw many kinds of coffee, but as far as I don't like to drink coffee, I ordered iced mango. Then we found a mask. I wore it. I never had this kind of mask. I had many others. This is a new kind and a new experience in my life. Well, at the same time we watched the Halloween activity over there. The first part was the "make-up part" or the "Halloween cosplay part". The participants made themselves as: a vampire(Dracula like), something like an angel, a witch, another witch and maybe that was all or I just don't remember if there was/were more participant/participants. The people voted and the winners got presents. Meanwhile we got 3 French lollipops as a gift! So nice of the Starbucks staff! At that moment I remembered the popular
Halloween's "trick or treat", where the kids will receive some sweets!
Well, the second part was "make a jack-o'-lantern"(i.e. the carved pumpkin lantern). I like this Halloween symbol very much. I think it was the first Halloween symbol and Halloween element I ever saw. Today I found out other Halloween elements like spiders. I think I never mentioned them before. Of course I know and I knew the other Halloween elements like: ghosts, bats and skeletons. I think that the pumpkin lantern (jack-o'-lantern) is my favorite.
If I have to ornament a room in Halloween style, I'd like to use the elements in this order:
- jack-o'-lanterns
- white ghosts
- spiders
- bats
- witches
- vampires
- skeletons
The moon is also a very pretty element, I think. Maybe I missed something? But it's not so important now.
I enjoyed the small lovely jack-o'-lanterns that participants made there!
Then we moved to another, central part of the city. One of the bars or KTVs (I didn't mention what was this) organized its Halloween night party very attractive. At first I saw some fake, but well made bones and skulls in front there. Then, 2 rows of "nurse Vampiresses" plus 2 giant guys masked as King Kong and some monster (I'm not sure which character it was, in case it really was some existing popular character).
Then we continued our long night walk and we reached that central place, where are exposed some giant artificial
jack-o'-lanterns. We took many pictures. We can post some of them.
It was a Great 2013 Halloween! I liked all these Halloween dessert, Starbucks Halloween party, the amazing Halloween gate of that bar or KTV, the giant jack-o'-lanterns and even the Google's
Halloween page with these simple, lovely Halloween games.
It's a 100% good Halloween in my opinion. The last activity, I think should be to find some good
Halloween film to watch tonight!
