The Hui

If you wonder what's the Hui, you should know that it is a Chinese minority. They're a predominantly Muslim ethnic group in China.

"Hui" in different languages

Hui's ethnonym is not only "hui" in different languages. Let me show you some:
Хуей - in Bulgarian
回族 - in Chinese
حُوِ ذَو - in Xiao'erjing
خۇيزۇ مىللىتى - in Uighur
Người Hồi - in Vietnamese
Хуй - Mongolian
Huiler - Turkish
후이족 - Korean
Suku Hui - Indonesian
回族 - Japanese
Hui - Italian, English (as we know already), Spanish, French...

An insight about the Hui - probably we meet them more often, but we can't recognize some (most?) of them, because not every Hui man, Hui woman, Hui child is wearing the specific Hui (Islamic) clothes. For example I know a Hui woman, who is wearing her Hui (Islamic) clothes, but her child is wearing only ordinary clothes.
