Capital of Bulgaria

There were a few capitals in the Bulgarian history. The first one was Pliska, the second one - Preslav, the third one - Veliko Tarnovo and the forth (and the present) capital is the city of Sofia.
According to Wikipedia: "Sofia (Bulgarian: София, pronounced [ˈsɔfijɐ]) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria and the 15th largest city in the European Union with a population of 1.2 million people. It is located in western Bulgaria, at the foot of Mount Vitosha and approximately at the centre of the Balkan Peninsula."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sofia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Text_of_Creative_Commons_Attribution-ShareAlike_3.0_Unported_License
