I watched a video (Ted.com; I am sorry I don't remember the url of that video to share it here now) and the scientist said that most of the people believe that they could die more probably during:
-earthquakes
-tornadoes
-terrorist attacks like 9/11,
BUT in fact most people die in swimming pools (drowning). Then why most of us afraid of tornadoes, earthquakes, terrorist attacks more than swimming pools? It's just because the news prefer to inform us about those rare events (because they're more interesting and attractive than the swimming pools, rivers, lakes, seas, oceans).
The same in this case - THERE ARE many good news, but they're just not so interesting/attractive as the bad, scary news.
I like to share and to watch all type of news.
