What else can you do? Here are some RED flags - don't work with any vendor that says they guarantee or promise the top spot or even the first page. Either they can't deliver or they will get you rankings for keywords that don't prove value, such as for your brand name.

Yeah its true that the noone can guarantee a specific position in search engines. One can build quality links and fresh content for a website, but all the factors can't assure first position in serps, so companies making such fake promises many a times isn't able to deliver best results.

This is interesting. So seems like all of the SEO companies are playing on plain ground, where no one has an edge over the other since no company guarantees top page rank. So can you tell me what's the criteria for a good and trustworthy SEO? I hope you response to this because this will really help, not only me but also to the other members here.
