Look at this kind of fish, in Chinese they are called "地图", it means "map". Do you think it really looks like a map?

And these are a kind of tropical fish. They are "小血鹦鹉" in Chinese. I guess they are "small blood parrots" in English. They are beautiful ornamental fish, I think.

It's nice to keep some fish at home. They are so lovely. But I am afraid no one takes care of them when I am out for long.

They are so relaxing after all that is why we them in Doctor's and Dentists waiting rooms.

I can't say I can see the resemblance of a map in the "Map Fish". Are those spotted Gar big.

Not so big. I think they are around 10-15 cm. (long).

Flounder

I saw it in the supermarket. But I never ate it.

It's a kind of sea fish named Flounder. And the Chinese name is 比目鱼. Look at its mouth and eyes. Very lovely, isn't it？

Flounders live in shallow water, sandy seabed, preying on small fish and shrimp.

We have Flounder in Western Australia. A nice fish to eat as well. I couldn't find a good picture of one but I did find this site with a few on them.
