A friend of mine said the reason was that the light condition was not good.

It is... maybe so. Then? Did you have the same problem later?
Well of course I've ever had dark circles due to the lack of sleep, but it looked very different from how I looked in the photo.
The dark circles in the grad photo seem to me even not the dark circles. They seem to me something else due to the poor photography or the poor light condition.

So, they're real or only appeared on your photos?
They were not real by any means, because I said I was in high spirit. If I had dark circles due to the lack of sleep or something else firstly I would not even be motivated to take the photo and instead I would just rest home.

Then just forget about this photograph (plus don't make friends with insensitive people who're going to make stupid jokes about a photo's image) and focus on your real looks. This is what matters most. It's even better when you're not that good looking on the photos because when people see you in person you'll exceed their expectations. 8) For example, you're dating someone who thinks you're a 3/10 but when she sees you in person and you're appearing as a 6/10, it'll be a real nice surprise!
The problem is when people use too many filters and give fake impressions -- they expect you to be a 7/10 and when they see you even as a 6/10 and they're thinking "Nah... he's not what I expected." and if during the date you can't satisfy their other expectations (personality, income, status, gestures, voice, frame, intellect level, hobbies, etc.) you're not accepted.
A fan of science, philosophy and so on. :)

Oh, bro, don't think about it. It's nothing. I mean, if some circles on a pic bother you, how you'll react if you start to balding? There are huger problems. The baldcels know what I'm talking about...
I want to improve my English.
